Rod Hanks, Application Architect

As an application architect for The Information Store, Rod Hanks offers more than 25 years of experience creating software for the oil and gas industry.

Hanks began his career working in the commercial software industry. He then joined BP plc, where he spent a decade developing applications for engineering decision support.

Hanks designed and developed software for the Petrotechnical Open Standards Consortium (POSC), including the POSC Reservoir Characterization API (RESCUE) and the POSC Relational Data Access and Exchange API (RDAE).

He earned a bachelor's degree in history from DePauw University in Indiana.
