Jim Anderson, General Manager - North America

As general manager for The Information Store, Jim Anderson offers more than three decades of first-hand experience in oil and gas leasing, exploration, development, production, operations and management.
 
Prior to joining iStore, Anderson was a principal for James K. Anderson, Inc., an independent company engaged in oil and gas exploration, development and production. During his 25 years with the company, Anderson served as vice president of operations and manager of land and legal affairs.
 
At the same time, Anderson also served as president of J&J Trucking and Roustabout Co., which offered well support services such as workover operations, equipment and saltwater hauling and construction crews. Prior to that, he was a district landman for Enserch Exploration Company.
 
Anderson earned a bachelor's degree in petroleum land management from the University of Oklahoma and a law degree from Oklahoma City University. He is a member of the Texas Bar Association, as well as the organization's oil, gas and mineral law section. Anderson also holds membership in the Houston Association of Petroleum Landmen, American Association of Petroleum Landmen, Society of Professional Engineers, Houston Producers Forum and the Dallas Petroleum Club.
