Ezat Zarasvand, General Manager - Europe Middle-East & Africa

Ezat Zarasvand brings over 30 years of technology and management experience in the petroleum industry to The Information Store, where he serves as general manager for the Company's European, Middle-East and Africa projects.

Prior to joining iStore, Zarasvand managed sales and delivery of enterprise resource planning systems for Oracle Corporation.  During his tenure with Oracle, he worked closely with E&P companies in the United States, Europe, Former Soviet Union, Asia-Pacific and Middle-East to develop ERP applications and align systems with business processes.

Zarasvand launched his career with BP Exploration, where he focused on new business technology support, process evaluation and design, data center consolidation, customer support and global IT/IS outsourcing.

Zarasvand has served as director of Middle-East business development for Foxboro/Invensys, where he directed working relationships with regional national oil companies and EPCs. He was responsible for the delivery of large-scale integrated SAP ERP applications and LNG plant automation solutions.  He also served as director of global upstream services for Cap Gemini Corporation, where he directed the global sales, marketing and business development efforts for oil and gas application technology solutions, outsourcing and concurrent transformation.

As vice president and general manager for Cerner Arabia Company, Zarasvand managed sales and delivery of clinical information systems in the Middle-East.  He earned a bachelor of science in electronic engineering technology from Kansas State University.
