Alfredo Eloy, Director

A co-founder of The Information Store, Alfredo Eloy offers consulting services to clients developing information systems architecture.

Eloy launched his career as a geologist in mining and petroleum exploration. He then developed an interest in information systems, prompting Eloy to join W. R. Grace, a chemical and manufacturing company, where he managed large information systems departments.

In 1986, Eloy joined Digital Equipment Corp. (now part of Compaq) as a consultant and marketing manager. Then, in 1992, Eloy became an independent consultant in strategic planning and developed a practice with several major oil and gas companies. In 1994, he co-founded The Information Store.

Eloy earned a bachelor's degree in geology from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and a master's degree in mathematics and computer sciences from the University of Denver.
